Initially started in the 1990's as an off-shoot of the family T-shirt printing business. Rule 26 has been developed since 2006 into a fully fledged specialist marine branding business, offering a range of services to suit coporate charter companies, yacht skippers, race teams and the super yacht industry.
Having developed out of the rag trade, the business is a clothing specialist, branding clothing for international race teams, household names in the sailing clothing business, and major charter companies.
Our aim is to provide a personal service with excellent attention to detail and customer communication, whilst also being prompt and good value for money.
We seek to show that working to tight deadlines doesn't mean you have to compromise on quality - you just have to work harder and smarter!
Rule 26 is lead by Dan Sanders, the Managing Director. After a career that spans working for his Dad making t-shirts, through to a law degree and then jobs in marine marketing, Dan decided that it was time to combine his family knowledge of clothing and branding techniques, with his marine marketing know-how to develop Rule 26 in 2006. Dan is involved with all aspects of the business from artworking designs and commissioning kit, through to production and delivery.
Outside of the business, Dan is unsurprisingly a keen yachtsman, and can be found playing on boats both in the Solent and internationally, and if you are a bit confused by the name....most people call him Badger!
The man known as 'the other Dan' joined Rule26 in spring 2010, and is in charge of all things production based. Dan likes everything to be just right - so he's the perfect person to wrap your boat, brand your vehicle and produce your new crew kit.
With an extensive background in the branding trade Dan's already making himself invaluable, not least with his love of travel, this year he's already done jobs in France and Abu Dhabi!
When he isn't sticking stickers Dan can be found hurling himself down mountains on his bike, chilling out to some quality tunes (the office playlist has much improved since his arrival) and planning his next foreign adventure.
